Just too keep things all tidy and such, I've devised a template for posting a song.
First off, in the thread title:
Number 1, post the date the post is being made, just so we know when it was released onto TIMGUL 2.0 in case people want to make a DJ Mix that, idunno, runs in chronological order. I suggest using a YYYY-MM-DD format, eg. "20009-05-15" (15th May 2009)
NOTE: IF YOU CAN REMEMBER WHEN IT WAS INITIALLY RELEASED ON TIMGUL 1.0, PUT THAT AS THE DATE INSTEAD. JUST THE MONTH WILL DO IN THIS CASE.
Next, post the genre in brackets. Understandably, there are hundreds of different music genres out there; so just put a general one down (Rock, Pop, Trance, etc.) and expand on it further in the post (eg. Metal, 80's Pop, Techno, etc. respectively)
Finally, the song title itself. Don't worry if your work is untitled, just think up a name off the top of your head. Doesn't need to be fancy-sounding.
Onto the post.
I suggest using this template. Those marked with a * aren't necessary but if it's to be included in a DJ Mix then we can't have two clashing tempos playing at the same time.
Simply the text in square brackets with the song's information.
So, to help you out, here's an example:
TITLE: 2009-05-15 [Trance] Trance Melody #6
POST:
Title: Trance Melody #6
Length: 6:30
*BPM: 135
Genre: Hard Trance
Description:
Whipped this up in a few hours. Hope you enjoy.

Also worth mentioning is that you may post what software you made the song in. It's not entirely important, but it's so we can seperate MTVMG-produced tracks to non-MTVMG-produced tracks (by "MTVMG" I'm referring to the whole series)
Failure to do so will result in the thread title being changed to this format and a polite notice. Don't worry; you won't get banned for posting in the wrong format.
