2010-01-02] New Year, New Slate... New Name?

Turns out I forgot to approve all the accounts. Was wondering why this board was so quiet.

So with the drama over at TIMGUL over, I'm personally willing to wipe the slate clean if you guys are.

You'll notice the thread's title contains "New Name?". Since Omni still effectively owns the name "TIMGUL" and this is technically an "unofficial backup". If this was to become TIMGUL's successor then, to me it shouldn't have the older name attached to it (I can't change the URL of this forum, so it'll always have "timgul2.0"). I've got one idea for a new name, but I want you guys to have your say on this as well: Should "TIMGUL 2.0" be renamed?

(and in case you're wondering, I was thinking on "Mcre84PS", taken from "Music Creation for the PlayStation".. and if said right, sounds like "Mercury 84PS". )

How about: "C.a.J.I.M.o.MTV.M.G.S.U.B."
That is: Codemasters and Jester Interative's Music or MTV Music Generator Series User Bar.

How about going for a different angle. Instead of trying to work out some complex acronym from the obvious words above, why not use the name of the classic and most widely known tune from the first installment in the series of MUSIC, the tune "Freedom".

The FREEDOM Bar. Or lounge, if you wanna use lounge again.

Or maybe, "MUSIC Appreciation Bar".
